MAP Summer Youth Soccer Academy focuses on individual and team development. Each day, campers go through a series of skill stations designed to help push them to improve as an individual player. In addition, campers are placed on teams in order to teach the fundamentals of working within a team and understanding what it means to be a member of a team. Each day includes individual training, small and large sided games, team building competitions and soccer related games.

Our staff is comprised of some of the finest coaches in the area. All of our coaches are passionate about two things: the game of soccer and working with kids. The staff works with players on an individual basis with the goal of developing soccer skills, confidence and a greater understanding of the game and team dynamics.

Mass Athlete Performance is excited to continue its partnership with Needham Soccer Club. Mass Athlete Performance is a local organization focusing on helping young athletes. We help improve soccer players performance through camps, clinics, individual training sessions. We also help create healthier athletes through nutritional counseling and lectures, injury risk assessments and prevention, strength and conditioning sessions.

We welcome players from all local communities to join us!

We are very pleased to announce that Kristine Lilly will join us Monday 8:30-11:30 to run sessions for all age groups!
Kristine will join us for Lunch to sign some autographs and answer some player questions.

About Kristine Lilly
23 year veteran of the U.S. Women’s National Team.
Made the U.S. National Team in 1987 at the age of 16.
Two-time Olympic Gold Medalist 1996 & 2004.
Two-time World Champion 1991 & 1999.
Played Professionally in the WUSA 2001-2003 and in the WPS 2009-2010 for the Boston Breakers.
Graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1993
4-time NCAA National Champion
4-time ACC Champion

BRIAN KELLEY

HEAD COACH WPI

Brian Kelley completed his 5th season as the head coach of the Engineers and his 9th season with the program. Kelley guided WPI to a NEWMAC Championship in 2017.

Brian grew up playing in Needham Soccer Club and for Needham High Schoo and then played for Muhlenberg's men's soccer team for four years and was once named a Centennial Conference All-star. Kelley was also co-captain of the team that reached the Division III Final Four in 1995. After graduating, Kelley signed as a professional soccer player for the Reading Rage (Reading, PA) of the United Soccer League. Reading was the “farm” team for the then NY Metro Stars, now known as the NY Red Bulls. Kelley then took his skills abroad as he trained with Shelbourne F.C, (Dublin, Ireland) and played the 1997 and 1999 seasons for Verona F.C.
