Patrick Mulcahy is the owner, founder and director of ITNSA. His love of soccer and coaching younger players prompted him to start this training program over 10 years ago. From that day forward, he has played an integral part in the development of his athlete’s skills, leadership abilities and sportsmanship – on and off the field.
Christian Battaglia - CAMP DiRECTOR
Entering his 12th season as a Senior Staff Coach, and Academy Director for New England Futbol Club, Christian F. Battaglia has
continued to strengthen and build this New England and nationally recognized club program. Currently, Battaglia is managing the
Development Academy Program & Boys U8-U19 program, coaching three teams, directing a staff of 8 coaches and is an active
board member for NEFC. Battaglia brings with him a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and a dynamic vision for player
development, all of which have been implemented into the clubs’ training and technical development of players. Battaglia has
coached two national championship, eight state cup champions, two state cup finalist team, including one Region 1 Semifinalist
team, and his teams have won numerous tournaments and league titles.
Coach Battaglia is currently owner and director of FC Puma Soccer Academy. This summer camp program drew over 750 players
in 2019. Throughout the past 19 years the program has grown to include nine weeks of youth day and a high school fitness
camps. FC Puma Soccer Academy has served players at the club, high school and town levels, and has been successful in
developing young athletes to become skilled and confident players on and off the field.
Since his coaching days at Worcester State College, Battaglia has inspired four former WSC players to join his NEFC programs as
coaches. Battaglia has groomed four professional players, and 57 Development Academy Program (DAP) players. Prior to coaching
at Worcester State Battaglia was an Assistant at Assumption College where he coached Josh Cole ‘01 and Rafael Henkel ‘02 who
played for the Western MA Pioneers of the USL league, Henry Brauner Worcester State ‘05 who played for the Philippines
National Team, and most recently Gabriel Gissie of NEFC/NE Revolution who is played for Sacramento FC in the USL Pro League.
Battaglia also played professionally for the New York Capital District Alleycats, Western MA Pioneers, and the NH Phantoms. In
2017, Battaglia earned a USSF “A” Youth license and NSCAA Premier Diploma 2015. Battaglia is currently pursuing the USSF
Academy Director’s course and will further his education by pursuing his international badges through UEFA.
A 1998 Keene State College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Battaglia was a four-year scholarship
player where he received NECC Rookie of the week, All-Conference and All Regional recognition.
Conrad Whyte - Sr Camp Director
Coach Conrad Whyte has been coaching with AFC since Fall of 2010, and has been the Academy Director since Fall 2011. He comes via St. Johns, Antigua where he played and coached in their premiere division. While there he played on Antigua and Barbuda Mens National teams at every level from U13 to the senior mens national team. He represented the senior Mens National team from 1990 to 2002 scoring 25 goals. In the Premiere League, he won the Golden Boots Award four times, and was named Footballer of the Year in 1998. He also holds the all-time, single-season scoring record with 26 goals, a feat which he achieved on two separate occasions. He also is the all time leading premier division scorer with 158 premier division goals. Whyte then played for John Brown University in Arkansas and earned Player of the Year honors in the Oklahoma/Arkansas section as a freshman. He was also an NAIA All American Honorable Mention in 1994. After he retired as a player, coach Conrad served as a head coach from 2002 to 2009 for three premiere division teams in his native Antigua and Barbuda. Whyte currently holds a USSF “A” license ,a USSF National Youth coaching license and an NSCAA Director of Coaching license. In addition to his coaching and training duties at AFC, coach Conrad was the Assistant men's Soccer Coach at Stonehill College and recently named Merrimack College Assistant Coach. Conrad also runs personal training through his training program at www.carisambasoccer.com.

Kevon Isa - Sr. Staff
Kevon Isa enters his fifth season as Head Women's Soccer Coach in 2018 after being appointed in summer 2014. Isa previously served as the assistant coach for nine seasons at American International College beginning in 2005.
Isa holds Advance National and a Regional Goalkeeper diplomas from United Soccer Coaches (USC) and has a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) B License.
As a player, Isa was a two-year letter winner as a member of the Yellow Jackets’ men’s soccer team and was named captain his senior season. Prior to his arrival at AIC, Isa played two years at Bryant & Stratton Junior College in Syracuse, New York where he was a two-year captain. He also earned all-league honors and was the recipient of the team’s Leadership Award.
Isa later played professionally with the Springfield Legends in the PSAL and the Massachusetts Twisters of the American Indoor Soccer League. He was also a member of the Trinidad and Tobago U-17 and U-20 National Teams.
Isa is a 2002 graduate of AIC, earning a bachelor’s of science in marketing, and is working towards his master's degree at AIC.
